When should I go for a Sports massage?
Sports massage is used to rehabilitate soft tissue injuries which may not be caused by participating in sport. Approximately 50% of the clients I see arrive with stress/work induced back pain.
For regular athletes a weekly or bi-weekly session with a sports masseur can help maintain their body in optimal working order, allowing them to train harder for longer. Elite athletes should consider a short session after every intense workout.
